Our summer here at Everkind Dental was packed full of wonderful community moments!
In June, we had a professional open house. A big thank you to all our guests and fellow business owners in Great Falls for coming by to celebrate with us. It was an unforgettable night.

In July, we had the privilege of riding along in the community's 4th of July parade, and we also sponsored a Concert on the Green. Groove Spot Band got us all out of our seats and dancing! It was so nice getting to meet more of our neighbors.

For the month of August, we helped sponsor kids in Fairfax County Public Schools by donating new backpacks and school supplies.

We are so lucky to call Great Falls our home, and we look forward to being a part of more community events.

At Great Falls Aesthetics, Emily Grubel, FNP-C, brings a patient-focused approach that combines her medical background with her art expertise. Her specialties span neurotoxins, dermal fillers, and overall wellness, because true results go beyond any single treatment. Emily crafts individualized treatment plans designed to help you look and feel your best, with a natural, refined outcome always as the goal.
We sat down with Emily to ask her a few questions:
"Great Falls Aesthetics was started during a real turning point. I was on leave after my second son was born, thinking about what came next. My orthopedic work meant long hours in the operating room and in clinic, driving between hospitals and surgery centers, and while I loved it, I kept coming back to the same thought: I wanted something of my own, close to home, doing the work I'm most passionate about.
Aesthetics is a field that uses all of me. I studied art history before I ever studied medicine, and I spent years around auction houses looking at how artists handle proportion, light, and the human face. Then critical care and surgery taught me anatomy and a steady hand. Most people think those are unrelated careers. In this work, they are the same skill: knowing what you're looking at and knowing when to stop.
What keeps me in it is how personal it is. Someone will mention, almost apologetically, something that bothers them. Being trusted with that, and then giving them a natural result that addresses their concern where nobody can point to what changed, is deeply satisfying. My favorite compliment is when a patient tells me a friend said they look refreshed, or asked whether they've been sleeping better."
"I love that my patients are my neighbors. I run into them on the trails, at The Old Brogue, in line at Safeway or Starbucks. You cannot cut corners on someone you're going to see at Concerts on the Green in July. I am accountable for my patients' results, and that makes me a better provider.
I also came to appreciate this town from the receiving end. When our youngest was diagnosed with a severe milk protein allergy and we were struggling to get him to gain weight, the other mothers here surrounded us. Meals, advice, people checking in. That support was very impactful, and it changed how I think about what a local business owes the place in which it operates."
"On the personal side: I lived in Bolivia for two years teaching children, I danced with a folkloric troupe that toured throughout Latin America, and I only speak Spanish with my two boys. My husband is still working on his vocabulary.
On the business side: we are a single-provider practice by design. The person who consults with you is the person who treats you, and I will remember your face and your history the next time you come in. That's not scalable and I'm fine with that.
The other thing I would want people to know is that saying no is part of the job. Not everyone who walks in needs a treatment. Some of my best appointments end with me recommending nothing at all at that time. Anything I do offer is because the clinical evidence supports it, not because it's having a moment on social media. I read a lot of journals so my patients don't have to."
"Honestly, word of mouth. We've grown almost entirely on it, and that's intentional. We'd rather earn patients through demonstrated results than through advertising. If you've ever had a good experience here, mentioning it to a friend or leaving a brief review online moves the needle for a practice our size more than most people realize.
The second thing is to ask questions. There's an enormous amount of bad information in this industry. I'd much rather someone come in and ask me directly than make a decision based on a video. Consultations are conversations, not sales appointments. You are welcome regardless of whether you book a treatment.
And I'm always looking for ways to be more useful locally. Some of the most rewarding parts of this work happen outside the studio. For example: supporting local organizations, charitable events, and community causes throughout the year. If your group is planning something, please get in touch."
